and yeap, this year colour is beige. i love the colour so much!! and coincidentally, the rest of my other relatives also wore colours that are not bright, can say mostly earthy colour plus some black.
oh yah! i also noticed that both rozi's and mariam's family also wore gold/ beige colour. bestnyer.. mcm coincidence =))
anyways, this year raya was not as exciting as the prev year maybe because the next day was a working/school day and also we didnt visit to many houses. if im not wrong, only less than 10 houses only. however we added two new additional family members this year. none other then.. lisa & baby khairin =)) actually hes the main highlight of the day. we just couldnt stop touching his cheek and wanting to hold him. argh so irresistible!
and i couldnt agree more with what my cousin, nabilah said about hari raya this time round compared to hari raya when we were still kids. last time, inside the van, especially at night, my sisters and i plus the cousins will count the decorative lights (lampu lap lit) found on every housing estates that we past by. whoever counted the most is the winner. and pls eh we didnt cheat at all okay! we really counted them from inside the van. i dont think we got tired of playing that game. hahaha. miss those times..
and also the green packets. this time i TRIED not to take from any relatives. because i know im already working, but some still give. maybe they thought im either still schooling or just working for fun. oh well.. dah rezeki tkkan tolak kan... hehee. so back to the green packets, usually after the whole day we jalan raya, at night we will be busy counting the total amount for the day. after that, we will call up the cousins and compare. if either of us get lesser, we will trace back who never give us. HAHAHA!! kental or what.. but cute lah when i think it back. like detective like that. haha. but now.. dapat or tk dapat, doesnt matter. dah jalan raya, dah penat, balek teros tido.
